January 23 | God Has a Plan Pt 2

Key Scripture (Proverbs 19:8 NASB) 8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.”

Understanding will give you a good footing

Key Scripture (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Key Scripture (Jeremiah 29:11-12 AMP) 11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you.

We are to become a blessing to our community

We are prisoners of the Lord not of our circumstances!

God is the architect (planner) and builder. [Hebrews 11:10 NASB]

Key Scripture (Ephesians 2:10 AMP) 10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

He changes me

The journey begins with The WORD

He is after my good and to know He’s goodness

Tasting the goodness of the Lord Brings us back to our first love

Key Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV) 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Tasting the goodness of the Lord Positions us to the heart of worship

Key Scripture (Psalm 34:1 NASB) 1  I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Tasting the goodness of the Lord Gives us a mindset to pray

Key Scripture (1 Peter 4:7 ESV) 7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

Tasting the goodness of the Lord Transforms us to see the glory of God!

Key Scripture (2 Corinthians 3:19 NASB) 19 But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

David offers us a glorious hope: “Those who look to him are radiant” [Psalms 34:5]

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you

He gives us a new heart: a desire for God! Desire is always found in what you pursue!
